Hotel Yambu – Come as guest – Leave as friend – Kathmandu – Nepal

hotelyambu.com – Peaceful location, excellent view and wonderful staff! We stayed at Hotel Yambu while making a video for them during our travels. The location of the hotel is perfect, very peaceful and you can see the amazing view of the valley and the mountain in a clear day from the rooftop. Reception area is very comfortable with a modern design. It is just a minute walk to the center of Thamel. The staffs are very friendly, polite and helpful.

The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable with a very comfort bed. The bathroom was lovely with a large rainfall shower, and essential toiletries.
There are over 5 different internet connections and backup electricity is always there. The breakfast, the food we ordered here, the staff food we often tried and the tea and coffee were always really nice.

Now with all that said, we have to mention the owner and his lovely staff. From the start Raj (the owner) was there to take care of us by all means. He even arranged a car to take us around the city. Words can’t describe how amazing and down to earth this person is and we are greatful that we came across him.

As for the staff, we have to admit that they were like family, always taking care of us. Thank you for you support and love throughout Ram, Yuvraj, Suman, Paras, Ramesh, Sanjay and Chef (Bhai)Uncle. You guys are wonderful. We will miss you.

So, if you are planning to visit Kathmandu, you should definitely try out Hotel Yambu. Highly recommended.
